Reimagining You Digital Strategy With 360 Video
In this presentation Giovanni will get past the hype around VR & 360 video and talk about how digital marketers are actually using VR in their online marketing campaigns. He'll briefly cover how we got here, why VR is relevant to marketing, discuss 5-6 recent campaigns he has worked on where 360 video was either a supporting element or main element of the campaign from fortune 100 brands, and will then show attendees what they need (gear, software, tactics) in order to start using 360 video in their own campaigns.
As with all his presentations, this talk will cover only work he has participated in. He believes it's critical that he shows attendees actual work he's done as opposed to showing work of others - this allows him to be able to speak directly to the issues faced and tactics used in the campaigns. At the end of this session attendees will:
1) Know what successful and unsuccessful campaigns with 360 video look like
2) Know what cameras and software are needed in order to shoot and produce 360 video
3) Know how to deliver content, not only for VR headsets but for users on youtube, facebook, desktops, and mobile devices
4) Know how producing 360 video is different from producing standard videos.
